LORI-KAYE MILLER
Hello
We are the Wilson Sisters
Joe and Lola Wilson had 7 children and moved from Chicago, IL to South Haven, MI in 1976. Their children enjoyed the countryside so much that, in 1977, they built Sunshine Acres on their 37 acres of land. Sunshine Acres was originally a youth camp for inner city children ranging from ages 6-18 called "Who's Minding the Children". The children came to learn about camping, fishing and nature.

Throughout the years as the children got older, our parents expanded Sunshine Acres to include a venue for adult retreats, family reunions, canoeing, fishing, and other recreational activities.
*
While we have all moved on to create families of our own, we often refer to our childhood home as the house on 'The Hill'. We wanted to honor our parents legacy by sharing The Hill with you. We have renovated and expanded our venue to include Weddings, Glamping, Elegant Catered Dinners, Romantic Picnics and more...

We welcome you to come and enjoy what we have to offer with your friends and family!
